Mike Bielecki

Mike Bielecki has impacted clients’ public affairs agendas for over twenty years, representing corporate, association, government and Tribal clients before State and local governments, primarily in Arizona. He has moved agendas for clients on a wide range of issues, with state legislation, regulatory changes, economic development initiatives, land use entitlements and incentives, as well as moving Indian gaming compacts and many other Tribal issues.  He has also advanced client agendas in education, health care, transportation and other policy and funding issues.  Mike’s experience with the public positioning of issues and press relations complimenting his energetic work inside of governments has led to client success. Mike uses solid information, thoughtful positioning of client issues, positive political relationships, and a systematic work ethic to ensure client objectives are achieved. Mike also has a solid reputation built on integrity and credibility, strengthening his ability to achieve client goals.

Mike was a direct report to Governor Jane D. Hull for her entire term. He also worked for Governor Janet Napolitano and Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon before he was offered a government relations position at Lewis Roca.  He worked there for the last 15 years until leaving to start his own firm last December.

Mike has served on numerous Government Boards and Commissions including The Phoenix Planning and Zoning, and Economic Commissions, the MAG Air Quality Board, and numerous charitable efforts including as Board Member Valley of the Sun United Way and Central Arizona Shelter Services for 30 years.  Mike was also President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Arizona from 1982 to 1997.
